Returns and Exchanges

It’s Okay to Change Your Mind

We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase. If you’re not, eligible items may be returned within 14 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions below.

What Can Be Returned

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be new, unused, unassembled, and not installed

  • Items must be returned in their original box with all original and undamaged interior packaging

  • Returns must be authorized before shipment

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items delivered to U.S. or international addresses

  • Items assembled, installed, or unpacked by White Glove delivery services

  • Items that have been assembled, installed, or used

  • Items without original boxes and/or original undamaged interior packaging

  • Items marked Final Sale, Clearance, or Open Box

  • Orders delayed by more than 10 days at the customer’s request

  • Special order, trade, or built-to-order items (including Hubbardton Forge and Lind Furniture)

  • Artwork, paintings, wall art, artificial plants

  • Mattresses, blankets, rugs, mirrors

  • Pillows, cushions, throws

  • Concrete merchandise

Returns

  1. To request a return, please email contact@centraldesigns.ca within 14 days of delivery.

  2. Once authorized, we will provide a pre-paid return shipping label and arrange pickup from your location.

  3. After inspection, a refund will be issued minus return shipping costs and any applicable restocking fees.

  4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 3–10 business days after processing.

Returns are inspected within 2–5 business days. Processing times may be longer during holidays or promotional periods.

Exchanges

To exchange an item, request a return for the original order and place a new order online for the replacement item(s).

If your merchandise arrives damaged due to shipping or has a manufacturing defect, please contact contact@centraldesigns.ca immediately.

Fees, Restocking & Important Notes

  • Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense

  • Refused deliveries are considered unauthorized returns

  • Restocking fees are calculated based on the item’s original price before discounts

  • Returns missing parts, hardware, or packaging may incur a 20%–50% restocking fee

  • Orders returned due to delivery limitations (e.g., narrow staircases, doorways, elevators, blocked streets) are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping

  • Normal exterior box wear from shipping is expected and not subject to additional fees
